UCAT Decision Making


In this section there are 29 questions to be completed in 31 minutes. The questions may refer to variety of sources, graphs, tables, diagrams and text, and sometimes there will be information within the question itself. In this section, all the questions are singular (stand alone)  and do not share information,
There are five question types in Decision Making
  1. Venn diagrams. You must practice these style of questions so that the type of question is familiar to you. There are 3 main types that come up
  2.  Logical Puzzle. Here you are asked to arrange or put in order a range of statements of description
  3. Argument. A proposal will be presented and you will identify the strongest argument for or against it
  4. Yes/No questions. You will be given five statements and you must decide does the statement flow or not flow logically.
  5. Probability. Know multiplication and additive probability, conditional and mutually exclusive and dependent and independent.
